Michael Kors IPO

Michael Kors is expected to raise a staggering $792.3 million in an US initial public offering. 41.7 million shares will be offered at $17-19 a share. Kors’ stake in the company will decrease from 12%-8% but don’t worry he will still be in creative control. His contract allows him to hold a place with the company until his death. Not a bad gig, huh?

Here’s a sneak peek at Michael Kors’ Pre-Fall 2012 line. Stetsons, leather and cowboys boots, oh my… While this collection is western inspired it still embodies the clean and classic style you’re used to seeing from his line.

What are your thoughts on this collection?
