Mondays

We’re still on this stretch of great weather. Typically by this time of year, you can expect frigid temps and dare I say it- Snow! I guess that will all occur soon enough. I decided to take advantage of the unseasonably pleasant temp and wear this cute Calvin Klein sweater dress. It has a relaxed fit and the color is neutral making it easy to pair with any other hues. I paired it with this spritely colored top and tights to prevent from looking too drab.

I hope no one out there has a case of the Mondays (like me). I woke up feeling like Mondays are the worse days EVER. Hopefully I can get out fo my rut soon.

Getting a Leg Up

I tapped into my playful side with these striped tights. Luckily, there is a plethora of hosiery  available that are fun and can help add flair to your look. Go bright, lacy, or with texture. You really can’t go wrong.

Let’s Get Leggy

Today in the spirit of Halloween I decided to wear bright and festive tights. Generally,  I think that tights are a perfect winter accessory. I tend to wear dark and dismal colors in the winter months. The pop of color will help brighten your winter attire.  Donning fun tights will help to bring you out of that winter gloom and add pizzazz to your wardrobe.

                                                HAPPY HALLOWEEN DOLLS!

(Top: Marshalls, Dress: Marshalls, Boots: Steve Madden)

                                                               Did you Know?

Leggy dolls, are MOD 10 inch fashion dolls that were released by Hasbro in North America, Polistil in Europe and Shiba in Japan from 1972 to 1973. They have a very exaggerated appearance, even though they are 10 inches tall. They are very thin dolls (the waist is less than 0.75 inches across) and they have 7 inch legs. Each doll in the standard editions came packaged on a large blister card with a stock outfit, pants, platform shoes and a plastic stand. Their unusual appearance makes them good models for a variety of fashion doll clothing, including their own line of MOD fashions. ( Source: Wikipedia)
