A New Year A New Perspective!

It’s the last friday of the year which is bitter-sweet. I am looking back on the year and reflecting on the things that I’ve accomplished and have yet to do. My resolution aren’t specific goals but are more general goals. I hope to be more optimistic and to be instinctive. I feel that this will be conducive to my productivity and will make me happier. Honestly, I didn’t do too much this past year. I feel like a bit of a slacker so next year I’m turning it up a few notches and plan to “seize the day”.

What are your resolutions?

And btw, I hope you all have a great New Year’s eve. Be safe!

Merry Berry

Elated from my holiday festivities, I wore this Christmas infused look. I had such a great time with my family, reminiscing, eating and being merry. I saw this outfit on Refinery 29. I thought it was so cute. I couldn’t figure out why I didn’t think to create this look on my own. I really like the satin bottom of my dress. It made the overall feel of my outfit festive.

If you didn’t get what you wanted for Christmas, you can always swap. Go to swap.com to swap your unwanted holiday swag and to see what goods there are available to acquire.

So Much to be Thankful for

As we are on the brink of Thanksgiving I want to thank you all for reading my rants. Hopefully you find some of them useful. I want to also express my appreciation for my family and being able to spend the holiday with them. I truly am grateful for them and count my blessings every day.

My Thanksgiving wishes for you all:
“May your stuffing be tasty

May your turkey plump,

May your potatoes and gravy

Have never a lump.

May your yams be delicious

And your pies take the prize,

And may your Thanksgiving dinner

Stay off your thighs!”

I hope you all eat till your heart’s content! :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Holiday Celebrate

If we took a holiday

Took some time to celebrate

Just one day out of life

It would be, it would be so nice…

So Columbus Day for various reasons might not be the most festive holiday but I found myself celebrating the fortune of having great weather.  I hope everyone had a reason to celebrate over the weekend, whether it was due to the great weather or the awesome Columbus Day Sales or simply feeling blessed to be alive…
