I love Fridays! Not just because it’s the last day of the work week but because you can let your hair down and relax. I’m channleling a relaxed and comfy vibe with pretty sweatshirt. See, it’s not your average sweatshirt. It has pretty sheer (ish) sleeves and a metallic fabric women into the garment. You can dress it up or down. I’m going to get a lot of use on this top. I even have my eye on a few others I hope to acquire.

I’ve got my eye on the Velvet Tote Bag. This plush tote is versatile and can be worn with practically anything. You can dress it up or use it as a daily carrier. At $128.00 (plus 40% off) it would be a shame to miss out on this excellent shopper-tunity. I think the belt is super adorable and gives the bag an elegant finish.

 

Another item I’m pining for is the Rose Gold Chrono Watch. This classic watch will draw attention but isn’t too gaudy. The tone just adds a little glam to your everyday watch. It’s waterproof and has a Chronograph function with date display. I am fond of the men’s style. I don’t care for the dainty watches usually made for women. I want a big and chunky piece of arm candy.

Differences

This is a quick weekend rant. I wore this outfit and got a few stares. I think it was the socks. Even with the stares I still walked with pride. I think sometimes people don’t get my fashion choices but it doesn’t bother me a bit. We all have different ways of expressing ourselves. I just express myself through my attire. Let’s embrace our differences. Be accepting and tolerant of one another!

Ode to Black and Brown

 They say you should never be together and that you are a faux pas. However, to me you are a flawless fit. You create the most tasteful ensembles. How can anyone resist the sultry shades chocolate, caramel and mocha draped in black so richly colored? I praise you for your valor; sticking together through the clamor. As I enjoy the forbidden fruits in life, too. Black and brown long live together!
